Children's Special EventsLiving in community is an important part of any healthy spirituality. These are great opportunities for children to gather with their peers and have fun.
- Advent Program - Wednesday evenings during the Advent season Kindergarten through 8th grade students gather to explore the Christmas story through drama and music. This culminates with a performance the week before Christmas.
- Children's Christmas Eve Parade - Our 5PM service on Christmas Eve includes a "no practice" Christmas pagent. All children are asked to show up a few minutes before service begins, parents bring them to the education classrooms, we'll dress them in costumes and parade them into the service in small groups as the congregation sings Christmas carols.
- Sundae Sunday - The Sunday school children construct a 30 foot ice cream sundae, then eat it. All for fun! This occurs in February of each year.
- Easter Egg Hunt - Dozes of 3-11 year old children gather to hunt eggs, create Easter crafts and enjoy each other's company. This event takes place 8 days before Easter.
- Vacation Bible School - This fun week of summer play and education takes place from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday one week each July. You can find more information about this programs here.
