Now you are no longer strangers to God and
foreigners to Heaven, but you are members of God’s very own family, and
you belong in God’s household and the cornerstone of the building is
Jesus Christ Himself. And in Him you too are being built together to

Crossroads begins on September
15th Dinner is served at 5:45 PM
Wednesday Evenings. A free will offering of $4-5 is requested
per person. Classes for all ages begin at 6:30 PM and run until
8:00 PM
High School students and older who are interested in joining a
class
should contact the church office for information on
specific classes
For Children
Choir for Kids —
for 2nd -8th graders will be in the Choir
room on the lower level from 6:30-7:15 p.m.
From October through
December our emphasis will be on preparing for a musical theatre
presentation for Christmas, which is scheduled for December 19th.
Under the direction of Susan Snow.
Dramatic Arts for Ki ds—will
be in the Choir room on the lower level from 7:15-8 p.m. We will
focus on performing arts that aid in our understanding of the
Bible and developing spirituality. From October through December
our emphasis will be on preparing for a musical theatre
presentation for Christmas. Under the direction of Susan Snow.
Childcare —Children
from birth to 48 months are provided a safe nurturing place to
play in our nursery (Room 205)
For Adults
Explore the Old Testament —Based
on the Disciple Bible Study series this 10 week study will begin
with the creation of the Hebrew bible and follow the people from
bondage to restoration and renewal. Led by pastor Sherry in the
library.
Doing Marriage Well —
How is it that two people learn to not only tolerate each other
but find fulfillment, love and happiness in that same
relationship? In this five week intensive, couples will be
invited to be a part of an experience where we discuss relevant
topics such as communication, fighting fair, staying in love,
romance, etc. Led by Pastor John and his wife Cyndi.
Invitation to Psalms —
Known as the prayer book of God’s people we will explore the
language, theology and emotions in this ancient prayer resource.
This 10 week study will look at how these prayers relate to our
world today and how we can use them to transform our
relationship with God. Led by Deacon Loretta in the chapel
The Prayer That Heals —The
good news is that God still heals people today—physically,
emotionally and spiritually! This book by Francis MacNutt will
help us gain more confidence and expectancy in praying simple
prayers for family and friends. Led by Jerry and Joanne Goode in
room 127
Drop In —Every
Wednesday night you can join in a lively discussion with fellow
believers. No book or pre-reading is required for this group.
Past topics have included, United Methodist themes, current
events and relating Scripture to everyday life. Led by Bruce
Stark in room 129
