The Music Ministry
Mission Statement The BFUMC Music
Ministry creates opportunities for musicians to develop their God-given
gifts and skills, to lead the congregation in worship, to practice
discipleship through music, and to deepen their personal relationship
with God.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOCAL ARTISTS
Chancel Choir Musicians gather weekly, Thursdays at 7 p.m. in the Choir Room. SATB Ensemble. Adults and Youth. Leads congregation in worship during the 9:30 Traditional Worship Service.

Senior Choir 1st Monday of the month at 11:15 a.m. in the CHAPEL. (front of Community Room) Seniors sing beloved hymns/songs and share memories of growing up with these songs. The Senior Luncheon follows this session at 12:00 noon.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH
Kids Choir Gather immediately following Sunday School, 10:35 in the Choir Room. Kindergarten through 5th grade. Traditional Christian Children’s Songs. Children will share their music ministry during selected 9:30 worship services. Two 5-week segments between September and December. (New Schedule handed out in January)

Children experience a creative and thematic music curriculum Classes
include playing instruments, creative movement, singing, and much more. Teachers: Amanda Teeter
Vocal Coaching For Kids & Youth For children and youth who have the gift of singing. Norma Nichols or Mandi Teeter will work with your child on an individual basis. They will learn about what it means to sing in worship, and prepare a song to share in worship. Contact
U3 Youth Band High School and College youth gather on Sundays, 5 p.m., Sanctuary. Musical Gifts to bring: Singing, guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, songwriting. Music Ministry shared during selected Contemporary Worship Services. Schedule shared in September and January.
