Hope's Closet

We are an outreach to the foster children of Livingston County. In this capacity we provide Boxes-for-Me for children entering care. We are always in need of supplies to make these possible. They contain: age appropriate personal hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, razors, feminine hygiene items, baby wipes, etc…), a duffel bag, a lap blanket and when age appropriate a ball.

We also provide clothing for foster children in the form of gift cards. We are always accepting donations of money or gift cards for this program.

We provide beds for foster homes. We are accepting donations of twin size beds or cribs in good working order that meet current safety requirements.

We provide diapers to case workers removing infants and toddlers from their homes. We are always in need of diaper donations.

Gifts for Hope is another ministry of Hope’s Closet. Through this ministry we provide $100 worth of Christmas gifts to all foster and kinship placement children in Livingston County. We obtain wish lists from the children in November, and ask you to shop or donate money and toys so that they may receive them before Christmas.
