Family Camping-August

Calling all campers! This summer you’ll have two opportunities to join your church family for some camping fun, including games, campfires, s’mores and worship! Invite friends and family to camp or just come out for the day’s activities. 

• June 10-12, 2022: Pinckney State Recreation Area-Bruin Lake Campground  
• Aug. 26-28, 2022: Lake Michigan Camp & Retreat (Pentwater) 

Details are below for making your AUGUST reservations (act quickly to make sure you get a spot good for your style of camping). Once registered at one or both campgrounds, please complete this form so we know you are coming!

The general schedule will be the same for both events:

Friday – Check in begins at 3 pm

Evening Vespers, Campfire & S’mores (Lindsey & Jon)

Saturday

AM – Optional hike/activity (Suzanne) and family fun games (Allison)

PM – Shared Meal Time (TBD if we will BYO food or have a cookout/potluck)

PM – Evening Vespers, Campfire, Etc. (Lindsey & Jon)

Sunday

AM – Worship (Lindsey & Jon)

1 pm Check Out – Safe Travels!

Aug. 26-28

Lake Michigan Camp & Retreat (Pentwater)  $36/night camp sites, $56/night platform tents, $80/night for cabins 

Make individual reservations by calling 231-869-5627 (mention “Suzanne Everett group” and the dates you want). We have most of the north section reserved, with options for platform tents and cabins, including the pavilion and group firebowl. 

Everetts are on site 3.

Swimming, hiking, playgrounds, bikes, kayaks, sunsets, various recreational activities
