SUMMARY:Crop Walk
DESCRIPTION:The 5K walk begins and ends at First United Methodist Church. Registration begins at 1:30 pm and the walk through downtown Brighton begins at 2 pm. Help raise money and awareness to fight hunger both here and around the world. Please sign up to be a walker\, a sponsor or both. \nNo one in this world should be hungry. That’s why the CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We’re part of a movement\, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them – and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world. Local agencies supported: Bountiful Harvest\, The Torch Food truck\, and Love INC. \nPlease join us in the fight against hunger. The steps we take and funds we raise will make a difference in the lives of others. Crop Walk is organized by Church World Service (CWS). \nRegister or Donate online (link coming soon) or email Mary Kushner to sign up. \nIn 2025 the Brighton Area Crop Walk raised $16\,689.67.
