Local Food Banks

About 7-8% of the individuals and families in Livingston County and 10% in the Whitmore Lake area are facing food insecurity. Demand is high and we can help! By donating food and volunteering, First United Methodist Church – Brighton and Whitmore Lake can help bridge the widening economic gap that comes from the high cost of food, gas and affordable housing. Food pantries can distribute package foods within six to 12 months of expiration and two years for most canned goods.
