Mill Pond Manor Outreach

As disciples of Jesus Christ we want to be in relationship with the community. Volunteers find creative ways to support and encourage fellowship within the housing complex during the pandemic, such as holiday gifts and decorations hung on their doors. When we are able to do so, we host monthly luncheons providing food, conversation and contributing to a vibrant community at Mill Pond Manor. The Community Outreach Team first engaged in ministry at the Mill Pond Manor Apartments beginning August 2016.
Mill Pond Manor is a low-income housing complex with 58 independent living units in Brighton. Residents are over 62 or disabled.
Contact Sally Hendricks if you’d like to get involved in this outreach.
