Advent Studies

God’s Surprises for the Season

Prepare for Christmas with a meaningful Advent journey! 🌟 This Advent, join the book study, God’s Surprises for the Season–The Blessing of Broken Plans.

What We’ll Study

In this four-week Advent study, pastor and teacher Susan Robb, explores how our own broken plans may open the way for God’s presence, and how every holy surprise carries a blessing. This practical and comforting study helps you see your own changed plans in light of God’s surprising presence, offering encouragement for real-life challenges during the Christmas season.

Books are available in the Brighton Campus Library and at the Whitmore Lake Campus Upper Hall ($??).  You can also follow the study on Amplify. You can get a free subscription to Amplify through First United Methodist-Brighton and Whitmore Lake (learn more).
