The Congregational Care Team members visit people in hospitals and in their homes. We sit with people who just need someone to listen in a moment of need and walk beside them during a difficult time in life.
You can also request monthly Holy Communion delivery.
Volunteers from the congregation are available to provide support, including calls, visits, prayer and communion delivery.

Stephanie Nichoff, Congregational Care Coordinator
My husband, Mike, and I started attending First United Methodist Church in 2004 and were married here in 2005. Trained with the Befrienders group in 2011, I began volunteering full-time in 2016. I graduated in 1995 from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a double minor in Child Development and English. When I am not hanging out with my family and friends, I am cooking or papercrafting.
