Cass Community Social Services (www.casscommunity.org) fights poverty and creates opportunity in the city of Detroit. The agency operates with a person-centered philosophy, dedicated to providing food, housing, health services, and job programs.

First UMC serves God by reaching out to our neighbors in Detroit. Join one of our Saturday missions: remaining 2023 dates are  Sept. 16, Oct. 28, Nov. 18, and Dec, 16.

Each month we depart from the Brighton Campus parking lot at approximately 8:00 am and return by approximately 4:00 pm.
